Our little lunchtime workout group has chosen 3 challenges. Yes, we are insane, but we got through Day 1 with the help and encouragement of our Fearless Leader, Sharla. We chose Beach Body, Arms and Ab & Squat Challenges. To everyone participating - have fun!
Jenny- I am not feeling the abs part of my challenge as much as I am the squat, can you recommend a general increase to my challenge? Maybe adding 5 of each of the crunches and sit ups to each day? Or do you think that I will be feeling them later in the challenge?
Chelsea - to make sure you are engaging your abs, really exhale as you crunch and squeeze your abs. Also, make sure you are doing it in a slow, controlled manner. The faster you do crunches or sit ups isn't better. You can absolutely add more to each day as everyone is at different levels. Squats in general are just harder so you will most definitely feel them more.
